For your consideration is this vintage Pitcher Ewer produced by Roseville Pottery Company of Roseville, Ohio. This particular line, titled "Freesia", was introduced in 1945 (Reference Advertisement Image provided above) and came in three color variants: Blue, Green or Tangerine. This particular piece is the Tangerine variant. The bottom is embossed and reads "Roseville U.S.A. 19-6". Applied to the piece on two sides is a raised yellow freesia flower design. This piece was formed from the yellow clay found locally to where it was made. The pitcher is a great piece of Arts Crafts / Mission Style pottery, produced earlier up until the 1920s. The matte finished piece measures 6 inches in diameter x 6.25 inches tall, and weighs 1 pound 10.9 ounces. What a lovely piece of vintage pottery to add a touch of floral elegance to any collection.
Condition: No chips, cracks or crazing observed. Item has been steam cleaned and air dried prior to photographing and listing.
